was it somali vs somali?

Idk, I was thinking that. They still haven’t released the details on who the suspect is but they suspect one of victims might have been gang affiliated.

Apparently the guy who died in the Eaton Centre shooting, Ahmed Hassan, is Somali… Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’oon.

For what it’s worth: it’s never too late to be whoever you want to be. I hope you live a life you’re proud of, and if you find that you’re not, I hope you have the strength to start all over again.

There’s something amazing about this life. The very same worldly attribute that causes us pain is also what gives us relief: Nothing here lasts. What does that mean? It means that the breathtakingly beautiful rose in my vase will wither tomorrow. It means that my youth will neglect me. But it also means that the sadness I feel today will change tomorrow. My pain will die. My laughter won’t last forever—but neither will my tears. We say this life isn’t perfect. And it isn’t. It isn’t perfectly good. But, it also isn’t perfectly bad, either.

It’s natural to feel sad from time to time, but it shouldn’t be a permanent state that we’re constantly battling. It’s definitely a struggle to overcome, but it’s more than possible. From my own experience I’ve learnt that sadness is often an internal sign that we as individuals have to change. Usually when we’re sad we lose control of our emotions, but it doesn’t have to be that way. With lots of time and practice we can actually use our sadness to make our lives better.

From my own experience it taught me to take responsibility for my own life.
